The Royal Mint
Production and install of over 200 graphics as part of the Royal Mint Experience
The Royal Mint has one of the finest collections of coins and related material in the world.
The museum, which is part of the ‘Royal Mint Experience’ tells the story of how The Royal Mint has evolved over the last 1100 years.
All coins throughout the UK (and several countries around the world) are ‘struck’ at this prestigious location.
Working alongside fit-out contractors Elmwood Projects, Leach produced and installed over 200 graphics as part of the Royal Mint Experience, including the iconic new Money Gallery. These high-quality, eye-catching graphics helped to redevelop and bring this piece of history to life!
As part of the project, Leach provided:
With over 60 years’ experience of working within the museum and heritage sector, Leach provided invaluable insight and support to the project team and was on hand to advise on the specification for large-format graphics and glass work.
Leach produced a series of bespoke, high-quality graphics including Titan wallpaper – produced up to 5 meters in height, to any length and installed as one seamless graphic.
Bespoke elements were provided throughout, including reverse-mounted graphics printed to glass, which gives the gallery an iconic feel. Further examples include a 6-meter diameter drum with large-format Titan wallpaper and, stencilled floor graphics – unique to The Royal Mint.
Leach’s in-house installation team overcame many challenges within the project, such as the wrap-mounted digital panels that needed to line-up with the graphics on the AV – pivotal to a seamless look and the visitor experience.
Working closely with multiple teams, the project was completed within four months, with the Leach team on-site for a period of four weeks. Leach’s project methodology, expertise and working together with the client team resulted in achieving the customer’s objectives and exceeding their expectations.
The end result provides inspiring and stunning graphics to capture the visitor’s imagination and leave a lasting impression.
